Principal Project Manager
Northrop Grumman's Weapons Systems Division is looking for a Principal Project Manager to support the Advanced Ammunition team within the Armament Systems / Ammunition organization unit located in Plymouth, MN.
The primary objective will be the delivery of all requirements associated with pursuit of new opportunities and execution of existing programs, while achieving all technical requirements and creating customer intimacy to support value creation strategies and actions. The individual will lead a cross-functional organization aligned to common program performance goals.
Northrop Grumman's Advanced Ammunition team within Armament Systems business unit is looking for a Principal Project Manager to support its expanding Proximity Cartridge Portfolio which are ideal for sensing and defeating moving targets, especially small unmanned aerial systems. This position will help identify, pursue, and capture development programs for Proximity cartridges and support existing Proximity cartridge production programs. The individual will lead a cross-functional organization aligned to common program performance goals including identifying technical requirements, developing cost performance metrics, schedule performance, and customer satisfaction.
Project Managers will be responsible for leading all phases of the program life cycle from inception (proposal development) through final submittal, negotiations, and contract signing. Primary Level Salary Range : $87,000.00 - $130,600.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
