Earthwork / Excavation Laborer

Chip Kronau Construction & Equipment, Inc. one of the Equipment World's 2021 Contractor Of The Year Finalists, is looking to hire a Laborer / Pipe Layer to join our team.  The laborer is responsible for providing ground work assistance to our Equipment Operator / Superintendent.

The type of work includes but is not limited to, lot clearing, grading, watermain and sewer main repair, trenching, pipe laying and light snow plowing.

Basic Requirements Must be able to perform heavy lifting on a regular basis (50lbs or more).  Knowledge of basic math and measuring.

Be able to set up and operate lasers for grading.

Be able to work outdoors in all types of weather.

Must possess a clean valid drivers license and reliable transportation.

Be able to commute to the various job sites within and around the general capital district.

Experience installing underground pipe and pipe laying is a plus.

Blue print reading is a plus.
