Maintenance technicians provide technical support, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and rebuild machines, perform preventative maintenance duties as assigned, and respond to breakdowns professionally and on time while following all safety protocols. Working knowledge of Electrical, Hydraulic, and Pneumatic systems.
Position Responsibilities may include :
- Repair, maintain, and rebuild all production equipment, including electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Coordinate maintenance processes with the production department in a way in which the production output and packaging is least affected
- Respond to calls from production and management to make repairs
- Perform established preventative maintenance programs
- Assist with all aspects of new equipment installation
- Assist management with scheduling maintenance projects
- Maintain accurate and complete departmental records
- Record all work in Fiix CMMS
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, construction drawings, machine manuals, electrical blueprints / schematics
- Ensure all equipment adheres to all applicable safety requirements
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain good 6S housekeeping standards
- Work with contractors as needed
- Perform additional projects / duties to support ongoing business needs

5+ years of experience in :
Industrial maintenancePneumatic and hydraulic systemsDC drives, servos, solenoids, photo eyes, relays, limit switches, and electric motorsPLC systems, preferably Allen Bradley, Siemens, and Direct LogicEducation / Certification :
High school diploma or GEDAssociates degree in electrical or mechanical field or graduation from a trade school, any certifications are a plus, preferred but not mandatoryPeople Management : N
Physical Requirements / Work Environment :
Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations
High volume manufacturing environment with forklift traffic. May have higher noise volume in areas – hearing protection required. Requires ability to stand for long periods up to 8 to 10 hrs. May need to lift up to 40lbs.
