Job description

Overview

Seeking an experienced Controls Engineer to design and program control systems for industrial machinery. This role involves collaborating with engineers, project managers, customers, and vendors to create high-quality, cost-effective equipment. Adherence to quality and ISO standards is required.

Responsibilities

Develop control concepts
Create bills of material
Produce automation programs (PLC, HMI, robotics)
Support projects from concept through deployment
Lead or support projects within a collaborative team

Qualifications

Expertise in electrical systems and codes

Strong computer and programming skills (Vision Systems, Robotics, Rockwell Automation PLCs, high-level languages like C# / VB)

Knowledge of pneumatic system design

IT / OT networking and plant data systems (SQL)

Familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts

Experience with CAD electrical drawing tools

Technical writing and communication abilities

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree required

At least 5 years' experience as a Controls Engineer preferred
