Key Qualifications :

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • We welcome Clinical Fellowship (CF-SLP) applicants
  • Oregon SLP license or eligibility

About the Role :

We have two exciting openings; one at an elementary school about 20 minutes north of Roseburg and one in a K-12 small district 20 minutes east of Roseburg. Both locations offer great support, with no compensatory minutes required.

As an SLP, you'll develop and implement individualized education and treatment programs for students whose communication abilities may be impacted by developmental differences or disabilities. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive school environment and make a positive impact on students' lives.

Position Details :

  • Start Date : ASAP to mid-June
  • Hours : Full-time (40 hours per week); 4-4.5 day work week, with remaining hours for paperwork
  • Caseload : Approximately 50 students
  • In-person only
  • Your Responsibilities :

  • Manage and organize essential materials and equipment for the speech and language program
  • Provide communication intervention for students facing disorders in language, speech, or hearing
  • Assess students suspected of having communication disorders and collaborate with teachers to develop IEP goals
  • Offer resources, modeling strategies, and training for communication interventions
  • Communicate assessment results and student progress regularly with school staff, parents, and students when appropriate
