Job description

Position : Certified Surgical Tech

Location : 4400 Wellness Dr #1000 Midland, MI 48640

Pay : $ 40- 44 / hr

Shift : 6 : 30 AM - 3 : 00 PM

Weekly Pay Package

Weekly Tax Free Stipend to be paid $911.40

Weekly Straight Pay (Taxable)$920.00

Weekly Gross $1,831.40

Responsibilities

(25%)

  • Demonstrates knowledge of surgical procedures and ability to problem solve in relation to the procedure being performed. Verifies items on the pick lists. Assures all equipment, instruments and supplies are available for the procedure. Accountable for supplies so that accurate patient charges are billed.

  • Sets up sterile field with instruments in a timely manner Keeps accurate account of all medications, sponges, instruments and sharps on the sterile fields per policy.

    • (25%)

  • Maintains the sterile environments. Monitors the sterile field and recognizes breaks in technique.

    • (25%)

  • Demonstrates proper use of equipment, assembling of equipment, disposables as well as cleaning and sterilizing. Assures all equipment, supplies and instruments are assembled correctly and in working condition for the surgical procedure.

    • Submission Requirements

  • 2+ Years of Experience - Required
  • NBSTSA - Required
  • BLS (AHA) - Required
  • Recent traveler experience - highly preferred
