Child Psychiatrist Locums Job Working with Youth in the Juvenile Justice System Southern California

Details / Requirements :

WORK SCHEDULE : 8am to 4 : 30pm (8 hours a day, 5 days a week) or 8am to 6 : 30pm (10 hours a day, 4 days a week)

SCHEDULE TYPE : Regular 5 / 40 (8 hours per day) or 4 / 40 schedule (10 hours per day)

Need starts ASAP for up to twelve months for a child psychiatrist to provide locum tenens services for 40 hours a week evaluating and treating youth with severe mental illnesses and co-occurring disorders, providing one-on-one psychiatric assessments, medication management, therapeutic support, and Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT).

Psychiatrists conduct in-depth individual appointments, often lasting up to 150 minutes for initial evaluations and 60-90 minutes for follow-ups.

Client has an electronic health record, so you be computer savvy.

The treatment team communicates regularly through bi-weekly psychiatrists meetings, weekly onsite team sessions, and daily coordination via Microsoft Teams and Outlook.

Two worksite locations for this job, one in La Verne and the other in San Dimas
