Job Title IBM i AS400 Technical Lead Onsite Location Evansville Indiana USA – Hybrid Job Summary : We are looking for a seasoned Technical Lead with strong expertise hands on experience in IBM i AS400 technologies The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background in COBOL DB2 RPG and CL programming along with excellent client interaction skills and a strong focus on quality delivery and governance Key Responsibilities : iSeries Development Expertise in technologies such as ILE COBOL ILE CL database DB2 Knowledge of iSeries APIs Data queues User queues multithreading Journaling and IBM iSeries file systems such as Library based system etc Experience with SQL and MQ Series is a plus Functional Requirements and perform requirement analysis Estimate and Monitor Estimates Work with Business teams to prioritize work Prepare detailed design documentation Reporting and tracking of assignments Fix high priority issues Required Skills Experience : Excellent communication stakeholder management and problem-solving skills Strong knowledge of IBM i AS400 COBOL CL RPG and DB2 COBOL400 COBOL ILE SQL400 Query400 Strong working knowledge in DB2400 ILE Concepts Display Files Sub Files Printer Files Embedded SQL Additional Skills Aldon MQ Series is a plus Worked on production support added advantage Preferred Qualifications : Experience in financial services lending domain Knowledge of Agile Scrum and traditional SDLC methodologies Exposure to modernization tools or microservices even at concept level Three questions Explain about your Technical Deliveries experience technical challenges you have faced Whether you have worked on AS400Cobol or not If yes then total working experience on AS400Cobol NativeILEDB2CL In which Domain you have worked earlier have you ever worked in BFSBFSi domain Skills Mandatory Skills : AS / 400,AS400 - Cobol, CL / 400
