This organization supports communities across NYS by providing over 1,000 programs that change the lives of those less fortunate. The Accounting Assistant will be trained in all activities of the Accounts Receivable department.
Responsibilities
- Accurately produce monthly and quarterly vouchers in accordance with contracts, ensuring timely delivery.
- Record vouchers in the Accounts Receivable system.
- Complete bank reconciliations as needed.
- Print and verify mileage reports.
- Print and review monthly health insurance reports from Evolution, scan journal entries and back up records as required, attaching them to Blackbaud records.
- Review daily incoming correspondence and bank statements, directing them to the appropriate person.
- Act as a backup to colleagues and assist with other activities as directed by the Supervisor.
Education
Associate's degree.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
