A Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is needed to provide behavior therapy and support to students within educational settings. This position is designed for candidates actively working toward RBT certification / licensure and cannot be used solely for substitute or fill-in shifts. The ideal candidate demonstrates dedication to student progress, strong communication skills, and the ability to implement behavior intervention plans under supervision.
Qualifications / Desired Experience :
Actively pursuing RBT certification or currently holding RBT registration
Ability to work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Experience with applied behavior analysis (ABA) preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Patience, reliability, and attention to detail
Responsibilities / Duties :
Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) under BCBA supervision
Collect and document data accurately and consistently
Support students in academic and social-emotional goals
Maintain professional, safe, and structured learning environments
Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to support student progress
Participate in ongoing training and supervision sessions
