Concessions Manager
Salary : $63,000 / yr - $68,000 / yr, DOE. Location : Chase Field Schedule : No two weeks look the same at Chase Field and thats part of the excitement! We support MLB games, concerts, and special events, this position requires flexibility. You can expect a mix of evenings, weekends, holidays, and event driven shifts throughout the year. Job Summary
The Concessions Manager will lead the team who creates unforgettable experiences at Chase Field, home of the Arizona Diamondbacks. As Manager of Concessions, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the Concessions department to achieve the best possible guest experience, partner satisfaction and financial results.
- Lead all concessions locations to ensure adherence to service standards, cleanliness, and efficiency.
- Supervise opening and closing procedures related to stand readiness, staffing, sanitation, and operational documentation.
- Conduct pre-shift meetings with Concessions team to communicate event-specific goals, specials, and company updates.
- Address and resolve guest concerns or complaints in real time.
- Ensure excellent guest experience across all concessions locations; resolve guest concerns or complaints promptly.
- Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment through clear communication, recognition, and accountability.
- Assist in addressing team performance issues, corrective action and counseling.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient operations.
- Enforce safety standards and food safety compliance, including proper food handling, cross contamination prevention, equipment usage, cleanliness, and maintaining safe food temperatures.
- Assist with inventory management by managing stock levels; complete production logs, monitor portion control and waste / spoilage / gratis logs.
- Assist with inventory counts daily and monthly; participate in month-end inventory procedure.
- Complete post-event reconciliation, polling, tip payments, and daily payroll for employees.
- Assist with accurate labor forecasting and labor efficiency.
- Support recruitment and onboarding of new team members; including department training.
- Ensure compliance with all Levy policies, procedures, and Core Signatures.
- Enforce Responsible Alcohol Service, Cash Handling Integrity, Safety, and Time Clock compliance.
- Reports to General Manager of Concessions and Director of Concessions.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Supports other Levy locations / properties as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of experience in food and beverage and / or sports & entertainment operational role.1+ years of experience in a leadership position preferred.Bachelors degree in hospitality management preferred.Requires knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and responsible alcohol service.Excellent communication and computer skills are needed, including knowledge of MS office products.ServSafe Alcohol Certification, ServSafe food handler certification, and / or Title 4 may be required.Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays based on event needs.Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods, ascend and descend stairs.Exposure to heat, steam, and cold temperatures within the kitchen environment.Some sedentary work including sitting in office at computer for administrative duties.Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.Manual dexterity and coordination to perform tasks such as chopping, cutting, and food preparation.Ability to bend, stoop, and kneel.Benefits
