Must be able to work independently in CT and surgery cases.

Must be willing to rotate shifts including third shifts.

The weeks they don’t have full hours will help cover PTO needs, send to other facilities in our Market ( Burlington Hospital or Southern Lakes) or take Low census.

Week 2 : Monday 3-1130, Thursday 8-430 CT, Friday 8-430 CT, Saturday 3-1130

Week 3 : Sunday 3-1130, Monday 730-4, Friday 8a-8p CT

Week 4 : Monday 2-1030p, Wednesday 630-5 CT, Thursday 730-4, Friday 8-430 CT

Week 5 : Monday 630-5, Friday 8a-8p CT

Week 6 : Monday 3-1130, Thursday 830-4 CT, Friday 8-430 CT Saturday 3-1130

Week 7 : Sunday 3-1130, Monday 730-4, Friday 8a-8p CT

Week 8 : Monday 2-1030, Wednesday 630-5 CT, Thursday 730-4, Friday 8a-8p

o 64 Licensed Beds

o AAH will require the Covid vaccine

General Information

o Beds : 1 CT scanner

o Experience : 1 year

o First-time traveler? Yes

o Will transfer high acuity patients to Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee

Patient Types :

o Inpatient, Outpatient, ED, OR (preferred)

o generalized scans, cardiac, angiograms, CTA

o No IR procedures, no biopsies

Patient Ratios : o 1 : 1

Required Certifications :

o BLS

o ARRT in CT

o WI license

Skills required

o Strong IV skills (preferred), knowledgeable in different CT examines, patient transport experience (preferred), stroke, contrast scans

o Will usually have 2 CT Techs, but only 1 on third shift

o CT cases are broken up in 30 min blocks

o Xray skills required

Support on the Unit :

o Department Supervisor

o Other techs within radiology

o Receptionist (Days only)

o Hospitalist 24 / 7

o RT 24 / 7

o Code team

Charting System / Equipment :

o EPIC experience preferred

o GE Optima 360

o McKesson PACs

o Pyxis

o I-stat

Floating :

o Xray department (will need both skills)

o Can float to Burlington location (20 minutes away) if interested - not required

Orientation :

o 1-3 days based on comfort

Scheduling :

o Weekend rotation : rarely, based on needs

o Approve up to 7 days, additional days email Michelle Bogard, Manager

o Variable start – 2200-0800

o 8 week scheduling period, will receive 1-2 weeks prior

o No on-call

o Holidays : any that fall in third shift rotation
