Responsibilities
- Greet patients and caregivers, explain the intake process, answer questions
- Accurately register patients and capture required demographic, billing, and clinical information
- Verify insurance, obtain authorizations, and check medical necessity
- Collect copays, deductibles, and coinsurance or refer to financial counseling
- Coordinate with unit staff to support timely placement and reduce delays
- Meet productivity, quality, and privacy standards
