Psychiatric RNs provide leadership to Mental Health Workers, Behavioral Health Technicians, and Health Unit Coordinators while helping train the next generation of nurses.

Hourly Pay Rate : $34.15 – $50.37

Night shift differential is an additional 18% of the base pay rate and weekend shift differential is an additional 8% of the base pay rate.

Qualifications

Education :

  • Associates or bachelor’s degree in Nursing

    • Experience :

  • Previous hospital experience in behavioral health preferred

    • Licensure & Certification :

  • Current, valid AZ RN license (or compact license)
  • CPI certification and BLS training (provided upon hire)
  • For Adolescent Unit positions : Valid AZ Department of Public Safety fingerprint clearance card (or affidavit with application within 7 days)

    • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :

  • Strong communication, time management, and customer service skills
  • Cultural competence and ability to work with diverse populations
  • Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred
  • Proficiency in basic computer and EMR navigation
