Environmental Health & Safety Manage r ~ Industrial

The Environmental Health & Safety Manage r is responsible for managing and overseeing all plant employee training programs, including , operational procedures, safety, quality, environmental, and maintenance training. Coordinate and implement safety initiatives, drive projects to improve workplace safety, manage corrective actions, and lead incident investigations to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage employee training programs, including , operational safety, environmental compliance, quality, and maintenance.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate workplace safety and environmental risks.
• Recommend, develop, and implement safety programs (e.g., LOTO, Hazard Communication, Emergency Response, Fall Protection, Respiratory Protection, Hearing Conservation).
• Conduct safety audits and inspections; report findings and drive corrective actions.
• Lead incident investigations, manage Safety Corrective Action Requests (SCARs), and ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of OSHA (1910 & 1926) and other applicable safety regulations to ensure full compliance.
• Conduct and coordinate industrial hygiene testing and environmental compliance programs.
• Manage annual Hearing Conservation Program and other required safety initiatives.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of safety training and recommend improvements to strengthen workplace safety culture.
