Job Details :

  • Work 3x12 weekend shifts
  • Perform Magnetic Resonance imaging procedures at a technical level
  • Provide patient care for all age ranges in clinical area
  • Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures and explain exams to patients
  • Perform MRI procedures including neuro, body, and extremity following radiologist protocols
  • Perform venous access for patients requiring IV contrast administration
  • Enter data into Radiology Imaging System, IDX Imaging Suite, and Picture Archive Communication System
  • Process and analyze images, identifying anatomy on images
  • Perform quality control tests on equipment and report irregularities
  • Order supplies and maintain appropriate inventory levels
  • Act as radiology liaison and provide support to physicians
  • Handle non-controlled medications for imaging exams and procedure tray setup
  • Graduate from Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology required
  • Required certifications : Basic Life Support, Certified MRI Technologist (ARRT), Certified Radiology Technologist (ARRT)
  • Must maintain knowledge of MRI process and safety standards in magnetic resonance environment
