Responsibilities
Problem Solving : Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to address emergent patient needs efficiently.
Communication : Effectively communicate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
Documentation : Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments and interventions.
Assessment : Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify urgent medical needs.
Prioritization : Prioritize patient care activities based on acuity and urgency.
Risk Assessment : Assess and mitigate potential risks to patient safety.
Equipment Operation : Demonstrate proficiency in operating medical equipment in emergency settings.
Skill Proficiency : Maintain competency in emergency nursing skills.
Teamwork : Collaborate closely with physicians and ancillary staff.
Initiative : Take initiative to identify opportunities for process improvement.
Qualifications
Minimum one year Emergency Department or Critical Care experience preferred.
Ability to perform CPR.
Baby Friendly education within 6 months of hire.
PALS within 6 month required
TNCC within 1 year required
