Accounts Receivable Specialist

Overview

Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about supporting healthcare operations? Our team is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist with Long Term Care experience to join our team. In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring the financial stability of our pharmacy by managing all aspects of incoming revenue — from billing and claim submission to payment reconciliation and collections. You'll collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely, accurate processing and maintain strong relationships with facilities and payers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit claims to Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurers
• Monitor claim status and resolve denials or billing discrepancies
• Conduct follow-up on outstanding claims and unpaid invoices
• Reconcile payments and maintain accurate A / R records
• Generate reports and support financial operations
