Position
Cellular Biotechnology Researcher
Position Summary
SURVICE Engineering is currently seeking a Cellular Biotechnology Researcher to support our Aberdeen Research Operation. You will accelerate your career and become an integral team member within the defense community.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
1. Single-cell dissociation and isolation
2. Single-cell NGS library preparation using a variety of platforms
1. Cell viability and cell counting
2. RNA and DNA quality assessment
3. Cell morphology and cell type identification
1. RNA-seq library preparation using protocols such as Smart-seq2 or 10x Genomics
2. DNA-seq library preparation using protocols such as whole-genome amplification or tagmentation
1. Cell aggregation or clumping
2. Nucleic acid degradation or contamination
3. Instrument malfunctions or calibration issues
1. Evaluating new reagents and protocols
2. Optimizing existing protocols for improved yield and quality
Minimum Qualifications of Cellular Biotechnology Researcher
Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences and 5+ years of relevant experience. Exceptional candidates with less experience will be considered. Candidates are not required to possess all qualifications; if you possess some of the desired qualifications, please apply.
