Job descriptionKey Responsibilities : Supervision and Leadership : Train, supervise, and motivate dining room staff to deliver exceptional service. Schedule staff assignments and manage workflow to ensure efficiency. Customer Service : Greet guests, manage reservations, and address customer inquiries and concerns to ensure complete satisfaction. Operational Management : Monitor daily dining room operations, including cleanliness, organization, and adherence to health and safety standards. Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies as needed. Quality Control : Ensure that food and beverage presentation meets company standards and that all service protocols are followed. Collaboration : Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery, communicate guest preferences, and implement new menu items as necessary. Event Coordination : Assist in planning and executing special events and private parties, collaborating with management to enhance guest experiences. Reporting : Prepare reports on dining room operations, including guest feedback, staff performance, and any operational challenges to present to management. Qualifications : High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in hospitality or restaurant management is a plus. Minimum [2-3] years of experience in a restaurant or dining environment, with a focus on supervisory roles. Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards, health and safety regulations, and customer service best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and lead a diverse team. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges. Proficient in point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications; familiarity with reservation systems is a plus. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
