Job Overview

WomanCare Centers, a Mid-Atlantic Women u2019s Care division, and affiliate of Unified Women u2019s Healthcare, is seeking a full-time Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician to join their growing practice on the beautiful coast of Virginia. WCC is an established practice that has served the Tidewater area for over 33 years and draws patients from Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Suffolk and the Outer Banks of North Carolina. WCC is the only practice in the area that promotes a true collaborative model between midwives and physicians. Our group of 7 physicians and 5 CNM u2019s work closely together to offer high and low risk obstetric care and full-service gynecologic care to patients in our area. Patients are being seen in a new 12,000 sq foot office space on the Sentara Leigh Hospital campus near Virginia Beach Town Center. Our office is in a full-service women u2019s health building housing 3 OB/GYN practices, 2 procedure rooms for outpatient surgical procedures and a women u2019s imaging center. Position Highlights

• Well-established practice; 33 years of service to the community
• 4 day work week with post-call day off
• Average 75-80 deliveries/month u2013 900-1,000 deliveries/year
• Shared call model with sister practice makes call 1:10
• Midwives take first call
• Patient Load: 20-24/day
• Dedicated nurse for each physician
• Full support staff

• o surgery scheduler & clinical coordinator
• o experienced triage/phone nurses
• o friendly front desk staff
• o 3 ob/gyn ultrasound technicians
• Mentorship opportunities
• o GYN surgery with EVMS residents
• o Physician mentorship of third year medical students in office

• Physician Benefits:
