Risk Management Assistant
Assist Risk Management & Regulatory Affairs staff with reporting requirements, software system management, data monitoring, and surveillance activity related to clinical risk and accreditation programs.

Perform clerical duties of the risk management department and serve as the point of contact and liaison for customers and managers. Provide administrative support during survey activity.
Assist University of Missouri System Risk & Insurance office with data acquisition and entry in claims handling system.
Carry out risk and regulatory processes including but not limited to patient termination, general liability claims, and pathology explant requests.
Handle regulatory rounds scheduling, open item resolution, work order entry, and follow up.
Follow risk assessment procedures, compile data, complete reports, and monitor liability issues including but not limited to CMS Restraint Log; patient safety events related to abuse, neglect, and workplace violence, and claims notification.
Maintain incident reports and risk assessment files and provide ad hoc reports.
Monitor compliance with existing regulations and upcoming or changing regulations based on established procedures.
May complete unit / department specific duties as outlined in department documents.
Associate's degree in business, healthcare, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities can be acquired.
Experience in clinical risk and / or accreditation support in the healthcare setting.
Additional license / certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.
