Responsibilities
- Lead and support Claims Operations
- Review incoming claims for coverage and assign to appropriate consultants
- Monitor and audit case reserves and coverage decisions
- Oversee external service providers and ensure quality standards are met
- Evaluate and recommend enhancements to claims programs
- Collaborate across departments to align claims strategies with organizational goals
- Provide insights to leadership on trends, risks, and opportunities
- Engage with Members and Stakeholders
- Communicate effectively with members regarding claims processes and updates
- Represent the organization at conferences and meetings
- Handle a caseload of 30–50 complex litigation files (EPL, Jail, Law Enforcement)
- Contribute to Strategic Planning and Budgeting
- Assist in developing and managing the annual operating budget
- Support implementation of strategic initiatives
- Provide data and reports to internal and external stakeholders
