Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join an outpatient cancer center pharmacy in Santa Barbara, CA. This is a travel assignment offering a great opportunity to gain valuable oncology pharmacy experience while working with a collaborative healthcare team.

Position Details :

Location : Santa Barbara, CA

Setting : Outpatient Cancer Center Pharmacy

Schedule : Monday Friday, daytime hours

Start : ASAP

Duration : 13 weeks+

Responsibilities :

Perform sterile and non-sterile pounding with a focus on chemotherapy admixture

Support pharmacists with daily operations and medication preparation

Maintain pliance with safety and quality standards in handling hazardous drugs

Assist in maintaining an organized and efficient workflow within the pharmacy

Requirements :

Active California Pharmacy Technician license

Strong experience with chemotherapy pounding (required)

Prior sterile pounding background preferred
