Alerion Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Rochester, New York.

This is a RN Travel position. You must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered for this position.

    Description :

    Level IV Cath Lab RN Position

    Schedule Options

  • Preference for 36 hours / week
  • 4x10 or 3x12 hour shifts available
  • Shift times : 7am - 5 : 30pm or 7am - 7 : 30pm
  • Weekends / Holidays / On-Call / Callback / Charge per Unit Needs

    • Unit Overview

  • Inpatient and outpatient procedural labs focusing on mechanical and electrical diagnosis and intervention for cardiac patients for the upstate New York region
  • 4 Cath labs and 3 EP labs care for adult and pediatric patients with a wide range of patient conditions
  • Comprehensive program with pre and post procedural care holding area
  • Practice model is rich with RN staff with CVT collaboration focusing on excellent patient outcome and satisfaction

    • Required Experience and Certifications

  • 2 years Cath Lab Experience
  • BLS (AHA)
  • ACLS (AHA)
  • Moderate sedation trained
  • Dysrhythmia
  • Telemetry
  • RN License (NY License ONLY)

    • MUST HAVE Experience

  • TAVR, Microclip, and Watchmen
  • Experience in Right Heart and Left Heart Hemodynamics, Cardiac Interventions, CTO, PCI, Pericardiocentesis, Vascular Interventions, RotoPro, LVADs, AngioVac, FlowTriever
  • Mechanical Circulatory Support Experience Required : ECMO, Impella, IABP, ProtekDuo and LVAD
  • Structural Heart experience with TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, CardioMEMS, PFO, ASD, VSD, Valvuloplasty and ASA
  • Critical care or Cardiac Experience Required

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Cardiovascular certified or RCES preferred
  • Familiar with Device and Ablation procedures and equipment
  • EP Lab Experience
