Job descriptionTransport and deliver hazardous materials (diesel) in a full-size tanker trailer to customers, applying skills and experience in commercial driving and knowledge of hazmat safety and DOT regulations. When You'll Work : Base Schedule of 15 days on / 6 days off, opportunities to work longer. Competitive Pay Sign-On Bonus Paid travel time Paid training PTO in first year. Per Diem Medical Benefits, 401k No cost housing, including providing Transport Drivers with their own personal rooms. Newer, more reliable equipment to drive. Full workload within DOT regulations with time and a half pay past 40 hours. Class A CDL with Hazmat & Tanker endorsements (X) Minimum of 2 years Class A driving experience Minimum of 2 years Tanker / Fluid driving experience. Must be registered on the FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse prior to start Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Previous customer service experience preferred. Knowledge of Department of Transportation Compliance. Knowledge of OSHA Compliance. Ability to speak, write and read the English language. Must be able to pass a DOT physical exam. Must have knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations governing safe driving, “Hours of Service”, inspection and maintenance basics. Must meet or exceed the medical standards of the U.S. DEPT OF TRANSPORTATION. Must satisfactorily pass a drug, alcohol and background check. Must be able to meet the physical demands of the work and the industry. Must be insurable with the company. High school diploma or GED required. Powered by JazzHR
