Job Title :  Safety Professional (Construction)

Pay :  $45.00 - $46.00 per hour

Location :  Phoenix, AZ

Employment Type :  Full-Time

About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced  Safety Professional  to join our team and help maintain a safe, compliant, and productive work environment across our construction projects. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on safety leadership, strong communication skills, and a proven record of promoting and enforcing safety standards on active job sites.

This position is a great opportunity for a motivated professional who takes pride in keeping crews safe, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards, and fostering a culture of safety awareness.

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee and enforce safety programs and policies in accordance with  OSHA  and company standards.
• Conduct  site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments  to identify and mitigate hazards.
• Lead  safety meetings, toolbox talks, and employee training sessions .
• Investigate  accidents, incidents, and near misses , and prepare documentation with corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant construction safety regulations, including  fall protection, lockout / tagout, and confined space requirements .
• Collaborate with superintendents, foremen, and project managers to promote safe work practices on-site.
• Maintain detailed safety documentation, logs, and reports for ongoing compliance.
• Act as a company representative during any OSHA inspections or client safety audits.

Qualifications :

✅ Minimum  7 years of experience  in construction safety or a related field

✅  OSHA 500 or OSHA 510 certification  (Required)

✅  CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician)  certification (Required)

✅ Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety practices

✅ Excellent communication, training, and leadership skills

✅ Ability to perform fieldwork, conduct safety inspections, and lead by example
