This role will offer you the following daily challenges :
As a Proposal Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing complex supplier proposals within the Space Business Area of Lockheed Martin.
This position will be responsible for the execution and shaping of the Material Cost Estimating (MCE) effort(s) supporting LM Space proposals. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to, collaborating with engineering and make / buy part planners in the development and pricing of small-to-mid-sized Bills of Material with a mix of requirement types, obtaining price information via historical system data and / or new quotations, supporting system architecture effort(s), and enhancing value through your contributions to the material acquisition strategy. You’ll support reviews, fact-finding sessions, and audits LM internal as well as DCAA / DCMA) related to the material inputs.
The successful candidate will be able to develop solutions to a variety of complex problems independently or as part of a team and with limited direction or oversight.
Although this position does support some teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in and be expected to work in the office as needed and as appropriate.

o Financial aspects of proposal pricing
o Material Planning
o Material Estimating
o Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
o Indentured Parts List (IPL)
o Requirements associated with FAR 15 Certified Cost or Pricing Data
o Use of SAP systems / LM Procure to Pay (LMP2P)
Ability to support fact-finding exercises as needed to review basis of price / cost trends and development of key cost indicators.
