Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend

Unit Size : 17 Labor & Delivery rooms, 5 OB rooms (single unit)

Electronic Health Record : Cerner

Dress Code : Scrubs (any color; no casual wear)

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1680 - $1800

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN license eligible for North Carolina (NC RN license)

At least 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience

Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, CPI / HWC / MAB, AWHONN, NRP, PALS

Strong commitment to compassionate patient care and professional demeanor

Ability to float to other hospital units as needed

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

Deliver expert nursing care to patients in Labor & Delivery and OB-GYN settings

Monitor, assess, and document patient status using Cerner EHR

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes

Respond to emergencies and perform necessary clinical interventions

Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and postpartum care

Participate in unit orientation and ongoing nurse training

Float to other units and take call shifts as requested
