Job description

Join a dynamic healthcare team in the Pacific Northwest region as a Registered Medical Assistant (MA-R). This role supports licensed practitioners by delivering essential patient care through both clinical and administrative duties, ensuring a smooth and positive patient experience.

Job Summary

The MA-R performs patient care within their scope of practice, accurately carrying out provider orders and facilitating patient flow to optimize clinic operations. Responsibilities include documenting patient complaints, taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and maintaining up-to-date health records in the electronic medical system.

Additional duties involve stocking exam rooms, assisting with treatments and procedures, maintaining cleanliness and infection control standards, and supporting team collaboration and communication.

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience as a Registered Medical Assistant preferred.

Experience and Requirements

  • Licensure or application within two weeks of employment.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire.
  • Knowledge of MA-R duties and patient care techniques.
  • Proficiency with technology including Microsoft Office and electronic medical records.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and perform independent judgment tasks.

    This full-time position offers 10-hour shifts within a 40-hour workweek. The role is based in a regional healthcare setting that values teamwork, ongoing learning, and a positive work atmosphere.
