This is a 12 month Administrator position which includes a generous benefits package, BCBSIL insurance, 25 vacation days each year, winter break and summer reduced schedule, and 12 holidays per year. More information can be found on our website .
Ideally the position start date would be on or before March 2, 2026 but is flexible for the right candidate.
Essential Duties :
- Collaborates and consults with building and district administrators in support of growing and sustaining a healthy student advocacy program across the region.
- Understands the challenges building administration faces and is able to assist with problem solving as appropriate.
- Supervises, evaluates and leads Student Advocate Managers in furtherance of program goals.
- Prepares and leads professional development for Student Advocates and Managers.
- In collaboration with Student Advocate Managers & the Assistant Executive Director and school personnel, recruits, hires, places and onboards Student Advocates.
- Manages the performance of Managers and Student Advocates and oversees progressive discipline when necessary.
- Coordinates the processes between Student Advocates and School MTSS teams for student referrals and works with Managers to ensure full caseloads on an ongoing basis, particularly at the March 1st count deadline.
- Facilitates team meetings and assists in program design, growth and development.
- Creates data reports for North Cook board meetings and facilitates data collection for the ALOP continuation application as well as state reporting and program advancement.
- Monitors program implementation focusing on maintaining program integrity and meeting district needs.
- Facilitates ongoing collaboration with home school & district staff to help align SA ALOP procedures with existing school policies and practices.
- Oversees budgets and purchasing of supplies and materials for the program.
- Fulfill other responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications :
Experience working as a school or district administrator preferred.Supervisory experience required and Master’s Degree preferred.Strong background in social-emotional learning competencies and school culture required.Experience working with social, emotional, and behavioral intervention teams.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Friendly and patient demeanor including conflict resolution skills.Able to travel by vehicle to North Cook ISC area schools.
