Electrical Aircraft Technician

GMRE is currently recruiting for an Electrical Aircraft Technician. This position is day shift and may be eligible for per-diem based on standards. The Electrical Aircraft Technician will perform maintenance and modifications on assigned aircraft using electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and other test support equipment. Operationally checks all systems, sub-systems, and associated line replaceable unit (LRU) removal and installation. Interprets and advises on maintenance procedures and policies to repair aircraft and related equipment.

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Troubleshoots, inspects, removes, installs, repairs, modifies, overhauls, and operates aircraft electrical systems, components, and associated support equipment.
• Recommends methods to improve equipment performance and maintenance.
• Knowledge is mandatory of electrical, electronic, and mechanical principles relating to electrical systems, concepts, and application of maintenance directives.
• Ability to interpret the meaning of symbols used in wiring diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.
• Must have the ability to properly handle, use, and dispose of hazardous waste and materials.
