Engineer - Portland

Overview

• Preparation of structural calculations and analysis models consistent with standard practice in Oregon;
• Preparation of structural engineering sketches, drawings, details and digital models;
• Preparation of markups for draftspersons, followed by back-checks to verify accuracy;
• Coordination of structural systems with architects and other consultants;
• Attendance at meetings with clients;
• Performance of site visits;
• Assisting the company in finding opportunities to improve the company's operations, profitability and market share;
• Participation in training and other similar activities (as presenter or attendee, write articles in social media platforms, etc.) that have a positive impact for the company within the design community, locally, nationally and internationally;
• Assistance with other office operations logistics when required.
