Job description

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk with excellent customer service skills and a winning attitude.  This individual will compile and maintain accounts payable records and accounting experience is required.  You must perform these duties as a daily work flow in a professional, well organized and legal manner consistent with company policy.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Checks all vouchers and obtains appropriate payment approval

Prepares accounts payable checks or other form of payment

Posts all open items in accounts payable on daily basis

Prints all accounts payable reports and maintains all accounts payable files

Reconciles statement and the ledger making sure that payments are consistent with dealership schedules

Audits freight bills against freight inquiries

Analyses vendor accounts

Assists in monthly closings

Maintains a professional appearance and neat work area

Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Previous dealership accounts payable experience preferred

High school diploma with 2 years payable experience

Associate degree preferred
