Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Master Automotive Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles with precision and efficiency. As a Master Technician, you will serve as a technical expert, ensuring top-quality service, and the ultimate in customer service experience.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform advanced diagnostics on vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, brakes, and HVAC, using state-of-the-art diagnostic tools.
  • Conduct complex repairs and maintenance tasks, ensuring all work meets manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
  • Interpret diagnostic codes and technical manuals to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Provide accurate estimates for repair times and costs, communicating effectively with service advisors and customers.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Mentor and train apprentice or junior technicians, sharing expertise and promoting a collaborative team environment.
  • Test-drive vehicles to verify repairs and ensure optimal performance.
  • Document all services and repairs accurately for customer records and warranty purposes.

Qualifications :

  • Certification : Master Technician advanced automotive experience.
  • Experience : Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in automotive repair, with a proven track record of solving complex technical issues.
  • Skills :

  • Expert-level knowledge of automotive systems, including hybrid / electric vehicle technology (preferred).
  • Proficiency with diagnostic equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong electrical skills (preferred).
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical Requirements : Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and to perform in a busy full service environment.
  • Licenses : Valid driver's license required, Virginia State Inspection License (preferred).
  • Hand on ability is a must.
  • Must have own tools
  • Mut be able to pass a background check
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience with all domestic, foreign (Asian and European) vehicle makes / models.
  • Factory training or dealership experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of automotive software and digital repair documentation systems.
  • Benefits :

  • Excellent salary based on experience ($30 -$45 flat hour or annual salary range of $75,000 - $175,000 ).

    We are an extremely busy, family owned, full service automotive service business serving Hampton Roads and surrounding areas for over 73 years. Modern facility, A / C and heated shop, 13 bays, and 11 lifts. We are looking to expand in the near future to keep up with our customer demand.

    Pay : $40.00 - $55.00 per hour
