Westminster Assisted Living & Memory Care of Cullman is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team and ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of our facility at Westminster Assisted Living & Memory Care of Cullman.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Cleaning & Maintenance : Perform general cleaning duties, including vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, and mopping common areas, resident rooms, and restrooms to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Laundry Services : Assist with washing, folding, and distributing laundry for residents and staff as needed.
  • Waste Management : Dispose of trash and recycling materials properly, ensuring that waste areas are clean and organized.
  • Inventory Management : Assist with maintaining and restocking cleaning supplies and equipment. Notify management of any supply shortages or equipment issues.
  • Safety & Sanitation : Follow all safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a clean, hygienic, and safe environment for residents and staff.
  • Team Collaboration : Work closely with other staff members to ensure that the facility is well-maintained and residents are comfortable.
  • Resident Engagement : Engage with residents in a friendly and respectful manner, creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere.

    • Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience (preferred)
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and safety protocols
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Compassion for and a desire to work with the elderly
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
