Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with a CO or compact license, Level 1 or 2 trauma experience, and Epic proficiency.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is in the Operating Room at a hospital setting
  • Day shift with 3x10 hour shifts, 6 : 45 to 17 : 15
  • Weekend shifts required, up to 2 weekends per month
  • On-call required : 2 shifts per 6-week period, one weekday night and one weekend day or night
  • Floating required between inpatient and outpatient OR settings as well as between pavilions
  • Patient population includes general surgery, orthopedics, and neurosurgery
  • Epic EMR is used and experience is required
  • First-time travelers will be considered for this assignment
  • Drug screening is mandatory, including THC / marijuana, prior to assignment start
  • Online modules must be completed prior to start and typically take about 4 hours
  • Maximum of 5 days of requested time off per 13-week contract is highly encouraged
  • Parking is available at an approximate monthly cost of $25

  • Active CO or compact RN license required
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association required
  • Minimum of 3 years OR RN experience required
  • At least 2 years of recent Level 1 or 2 trauma center experience required
  • Proficiency in general surgery, orthopedic, and neuro procedures required
  • Epic EMR experience is required
