- 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM (Rotating Weekends)
- 12 : 00 PM - 8 : 30 PM or 11 : 00 AM - 7 : 30 PM (Mon-Fri, No Weekends)
Hourly Pay Range :
Minimum : $32.91 / hrMidpoint (10 yrs) : $41.14 / hrMaximum : $45.25 / hrShift Differentials :
Evenings : +$2.00 / hrWeekends : +$2.00 / hrSign-On Bonus : Up to $15,000

Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly motivated RN Case Manager for the Observation Unit who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role focuses on managing patient care transitions, ensuring appropriate utilization of resources, and driving effective discharge planning. The ideal candidate will have strong InterQual experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coordinate across multidisciplinary teams to support patients through the observation phase of care.
Key Responsibilities :
Apply InterQual criteria and the 2-Midnight Rule for observation case review and managementCollaborate with physicians and care teams to assess, plan, and expedite care transitionsIdentify and address barriers to progression and escalate unresolved issuesRefer patients with complex discharge needs to social workers or inpatient case managersPromote quality outcomes, patient throughput, and cost-effective careProvide education and advocate for patients healthcare needs and resourcesMaintain documentation and communication with stakeholders involved in patient careQualifications :
Active Florida RN License or compact license (must obtain FL license within 60 days)BLS certification (within 30 days of hire)Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferredAt least 1 year of recent Case Management experience requiredStrong InterQual proficiency requiredUtilization review experience preferredInsurance company case management background welcomedIdeal Candidate Qualities :
