Shift : Days

Shift Length : 8 hours (8x5 shifts / week)

Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week

Duration : 13 weeks

Position Summary :

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse – Oncology with at least 2–3 years of acute care experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in oncology nursing, including experience in administering chemotherapy, managing side effects, and providing compassionate care to patients undergoing cancer treatment. A solid foundation in critical care and patient education is preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities :

Assessing patients

Administering cancer treatments

Explaining the treatments and answering questions for patients

Managing the side effects of cancer treatments and helping manage pain

Monitoring vitals of patients

Coordinating the patient’s care with all other providers

Supporting the emotional well-being of patients

Providing information on resources for family members

Required Qualifications :

Valid Nebraska State RN license / Compact RN License

ACLS(AHA)

BLS(AHA)

ONS / ANCC Certification
