Overview
The IT Technology Financial Management Analyst works closely with other roles in the IT Financial Operations TFM department to perform duties related to technology financial management including but not limited to charge code management, controls and metrics, reporting, budgeting and financial governance. This role is instrumental in improving business outcomes by ensuring IT spend meets accounting policies and guidelines and that we are allocating IT costs appropriately and correctly. This role requires an understanding of utility accounting practices and policies to ensure accuracy of our financial results.
Callouts :
- Role is highly accounting focused and will be submitting journal entries, accounting adjustments, reviewing / submitting invoices and creating charge codes
- Ideal candidate would be located in Allentown, PA on a hybrid schedule ( tues-thurs in office) but open to fully remote candidates in CST or EST time zone.
Responsibilities
Interacts with IT Finance on matters that impact charge code management and corporate financial policyWorks with Financial Planning to prevent SOX issuesWorks with property accounting to accurately track cloud implementationsManages the lifecycle of charge codes and tracks joint IT projects and spendWorks with SAFe teams to populate Financial Template and understand charge code needsAssists with the financial governance processAssists in developing the capital and O&M budgetAssists with developing and running monthly budget, forecast and variance reports and developing reporting dashboardsWorks with VRO (value realization office) to enable reporting and value trackingQualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or a related field or demonstrated work experience.Experience
3+ years of experience in IT financial management or IT portfolio managementHigh degree of attention to detail and organizationStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.">
