Overview Associate Photographer - Virginia Beach

This role supports Homes.com and Apartments.com with media collection, including 3-D virtual tours, floorplans and photography for residential properties.

This role works with clients, sales, logistics and management, and is managed remotely by a Photography Manager in local markets. An Associate Photographer services a defined core territory, with appointments for scanning homes and apartments and capturing marketing-ready photography.

Responsibilities Support marketing efforts on Homes.com and Apartments.com by capturing 3-D virtual tours and footprints.

Create a portfolio of photographs to best feature homes and apartments, utilizing photography techniques to capture spaces effectively.

Coordinate with scheduling and dispatch teams to maximize appointments and meet client demands.

Communicate professionally with clients, sales, researcher partners, and management to evaluate priorities and tasks.

N avigate one-mile square grids when not shooting residential homes to ensure complete commercial real estate data coverage and identify new inventory or missing availability for photography.

Adhere to CoStar safety standards for vehicle and equipment safety.

Represent CoStar professionally at all times.

Participate in conference calls with sales and research teams as needed.

Qualifications At least 2 years of professional photography experience; real estate photography experience preferred.

Experience as a professional photographer or recently earned photography degree.

Drone photography experience with FAA Part 107 License / Certification obtained within 30 days of offer.

Strong time management and attention to detail; ability to accurately capture and enter data.

Excellent written and spoken communication; proficient with Windows, Apple OS, Microsoft Office, and Internet applications.

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment; field experience preferred.

Current and valid driver’s license; satisfactory driving record / abstract check prior to start and compliance with traffic laws.

Physical and Schedule Requirements Repetitive sitting in a car, standing and walking for up to 8 hours per day; ability to lift, carry, and maneuver equipment up to 5 pounds.

Repetitive hand and arm movements for operating camera equipment and tablets / laptops; occasional bending, stooping, squatting, lifting and twisting.

Ability to work and drive outside in all seasons and on weekends on a rotating schedule.

Driving history must reflect responsible driving behavior and compliance with traffic laws.

Compensation and Benefits Compensation : hourly plus bonus-eligible; bonuses paid monthly based on performance against pre-determined metrics. The role pays approximately $50,000 annually with potential monthly bonuses.
