Job descriptionExcited to work in a fast-paced startup environment. At least 6 years experience as a software engineer and 3 as a data engineer. Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field such as computer science or engineering. Experience with large datasets and governance Experience with building data infrastructure in AWS (IaC a plus) Experience with workflow orchestration tools (e.g. Airflow) Experience with React, Pandas, and Apache Spark (or similar) Experience with Postgres, Athena, and Redshift (or similar) Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Familiarity with MRF / Health Insurance data is a plus Experience designing secure software, including HIPAA and SOC2-compliant systems a plus
Job Title : Lead Data Engineer Job ID : 82883 Location : Wilmington, Delaware What you will be doing :
- Be the owner of an ever-increasing multi-terabyte dataset and develop processes and software to process, maintain, and govern it.
- Lead the data engineering team by mentoring team members, reviewing code, removing blockers, and managing projects.
- Act as an individual contributor for all data projects.
- Build data pipelines and tools, for ETL, ML, and AI.
- Architect and implement data infrastructure to increase performance and lower cost.
- Work closely with the product team to identify areas where data can drive product and business decisions.
