Job descriptionA dental hygienist to contribute to the common goal of creating a great experience for our patients. Positive attitude and willingness to grow. Reliable and dedicated to making a positive impact. Wants to work with a caring and supportive team. Comprehensive preventive care visits including dental cleanings and calculus removal. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and provide personalized recommendations. Take and develop dental x-rays to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning. Assist the dentist during procedures by providing necessary instruments and maintaining a sterile environment. Document patient information, treatment plans, and progress in electronic health records. Administer fluoride treatments and apply dental sealants as needed. Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in dental hygiene techniques. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow and exceptional patient care. Uphold infection control and safety standards to create a comfortable and secure environment for patients and staff.

At Gallatin Valley Pediatric Dentistry , we pride ourselves on helping families in our community with their dental needs. As a pediatric dental office, our focus is children ages 0-18. We are looking for a hygienist to partner with who values oral health as a part of overall health. Providing education of oral health issues and addressing the concerns of children and parents in a way that will resonate with them is our primary goal for our dental hygiene team.
