INTRODUCTION

The Custom Engineering Specialist at ISAT will support the Custom Engineering Group by providing specialized engineering services, technical support, and high-quality project deliverables. This role requires a deep understanding of seismic bracing, building codes, and engineering software. Training and resources will be provided to help the specialist become proficient in ISAT’s practices and procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Strong knowledge of seismic bracing systems and building codes.

Bachelor’s degree i n civil engineering or two years’ experience in engineering (civil / structural preferred).

Proficiency in engineering software (AutoCAD and Revit).

Ability to read and understand construction plans.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Effective communication skills for collaboration with internal teams and clients.

Ability to perform calculations, prepare technical specifications, and create CAD drawings.

Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or willingness to pursue licensing in other states

Further Qualifications— The successful candidate must pass a background check.
