As our Renewables Designer (PV Case), you’ll be joining our growing engineering team. The ideal candidates will participate in and contribute to a diverse range of renewables projects in our team-oriented environment. Under the direction of experienced engineers, you will gain exposure to the Renewables industry in PV, HV and Battery Storage projects.

Job Responsibilities :

  • The role requires strong technical skills in electrical, civil and structural principles with a focus on accuracy, compliance with codes and utilizing equipment specs.
  • Focus of role will be utilizing software (PV case, PV Farm, SAM, PVsyst) for designing, optimizing, and creating detailed technical plans for solar photovoltaic (PV) systems.
  • Create PV layouts with considerations toward civil, structural and electrical components of the project..
  • Perform electrical “blocking” and MV routing for PV design
  • Assist with generation of single line diagrams
  • Work with the civil and structural teams to optimize between earthwork and structural quantities.
  • Create pile plot plans
  • Evaluating design alternatives to solve constructability, code, and site challenges.
  • Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to produce engineered construction plans and sheet set ups, including plan views, sections, elevations, and details

Position Requirements :

  • Associate or Technical Degree in CAD, Survey, Construction, or Engineering or B.S. in Engineering, Technology or Construction related fields from an accredited institution or acceptable equivalent.
  • 8 -12 years of experience.
