Join the Publix Technology Team as a Senior Business Systems Analyst supporting the Retail Fresh Delivery team. In this role, you’ll collaborate with enterprise teams, stakeholders, and product managers to analyze requirements and write user stories that drive feature development. You’ll deliver solutions focused on user experience, accessibility, performance, quality, scalability, and cross-system integration. Under general guidance, you will lead project planning, manage timelines and deliverables, monitor performance, and develop implementation strategies for complex technology solutions.

Ideal candidates are technically proficient with strong analytical, planning, problem-solving, writing, and presentation skills, and can communicate effectively with management, peers, vendors, and business partners.

Responsibilities :

Facilitate requirements sessions and document business / system needs with stakeholders

Champion product vision, prioritize backlog, and track deliverables for timely completion

Communicate project and product status to leadership and stakeholders

Collaborate with analysts to document processes, gather requirements, and identify improvements

Partner with Architecture, Security, Compliance, and Audit to design secure, reliable solutions

Develop detailed implementation plans for complex technology solutions

Diagnose issues and define escalation paths for complex problems

Oversee delivery processes : system access, data protection, procurement, and vendor engagement

Align proposed solutions with agreed scope and limitations across teams

Define acceptance criteria, conduct UAT, and validate deliverables

Act as SME for assigned systems, resolve complex issues, and serve as primary contact

Advocate for business needs to ensure solutions meet user and process requirements

Monitor industry trends and recommend innovative solutions aligned with strategy

Mentor junior analysts and share best practices through documentation and training

Provide after-hours deployment support, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate vendor resolutions

Collaborate on BDD scenarios for Mobile / Web UI and automate in-sprint

Potential Annual Pay with Bonus :

103,085 - 155,740

Year End Bonus :

As a year-end bonus to associates, Publix issues one month’s extra pay (pro-rated in the first year) each year if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check that year. This is calculated as a 13th month of pay in the Potential Annual Pay with Bonus line above.

Required Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business, or a related analytical field or equivalent experience

5+ years’ experience in business systems analysis

5+ years’ business experience planning, organizing, and managing activities to deliver solutions in large-scale distributed environments, while analyzing complex problems and translating them into effective solutions.

3+ years’ experience utilizing Agile project management and code management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps or Jira)

3+ years’ experience translating complex business needs into clear technical requirements and user stories

3+ years’ experience working in cross-functional teams with technical leads, developers, QA, and UX designers

Strong working knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) with the ability to work within the defined roles and responsibilities

Experience in identifying and supporting process improvements

Preferred Qualifications :

1+ years’ working in an agile / Scrum environment

3+ years’ business experience working with enterprise database management system (e.g., SQL server, Oracle)

9+ years’ business systems analysis experience

Experience with collaboration tools, like MIRO

Continued education including additional analytical or business degrees, and / or various technical disciplines

Experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst with mobile and web applications

Experience in facilitating agile scrum events and ceremonies

Experience using Microsoft DevOps to manage agile team backlog and sprints
