We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Scheduler to join our Engineering Services team in a commercial HVAC and Plumbing construction environment. This role is responsible for coordinating production planning for the fabrication shop, tracking project progress for fabrication shop and field construction, and presenting data to stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, skilled in Microsoft Excel, and have a solid understanding of construction workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage production planning for the fabrication shop.
- Collaborate closely with field foremen and fabrication shop personnel to track and report project progress.
- Prepare and present production data and updates to stakeholders.
- Review and interpret construction drawings to support accurate planning and execution.
- Support field reviews and site walks as needed to verify progress and identify issues.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of production processes and project coordination.
Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate across teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (required).
- 2 years Construction experience required.
- Experience in production planning (preferred).
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings (preferred).
- Familiarity with Revit, Quotesoft, or other modeling / take-off programs (a plus).
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
- Education : Associates degree or higher in Drafting, Construction Science, or Engineering may substitute for equivalent experience.
Work Environment
- Professional, team-oriented office environment.
- Occasional field reviews / site walks required.
- Weekly schedule : MondayThursday, 7 : 00 AM 4 : 30 PM; Friday, half-day.
