Job descriptionAssociate Degree or trade school training in Electrical Construction, Engineering, or Construction Management preferred Previous field experience as an apprentice, foreman, or technician is a plus Basic understanding of electrical systems and construction methods. Ability to read blueprints and specifications. Proficient in Microsoft Excel Previous experience with Estimating Software is a plus Strong math, analytical, and organizational skills with attention to detail.

Electrical Estimator
Location : Harrison, OH
Compensation : $25-35 an hour
Responsibilities :
- Review bid documents, drawings, and specifications to determine project scope.
- Perform basic electrical takeoffs (lighting, branch circuits, devices, feeders, small systems) using onscreen takeoff software.
- Input takeoff data into estimating software and maintain organized records.
- Gather vendor and subcontractor quotes for materials and specialty systems.
- Assist with applying labor units, project-specific adjustments, and proposal documentation.
- Participate in bid reviews and team meetings.
- Learn and apply company estimating standards, procedures, and safety practices.
