Position Overview

The Assistant Controller plays a pivotal role in maintaining the financial integrity of our operations. This role involves supporting the financial oversight, managing accounting processes, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting : Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with regulations.
  • Accounting Operations : Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
  • Budget Management : Support the development and management of annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Audit and Compliance : Ensure adherence to financial controls and procedures; assist in internal and external audits.
  • Process Improvement : Identify and implement efficiencies in financial processes and systems.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years experience
  • Proven Knowledge of GAAP, Cost, and International Accounting
  • Working knowledge and exposure to multi-state taxation
  • Ability to carry on the federal tax side for partnerships, S-Corps, and C-Corps
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • CPA or equivalent certification preferred.

  • 85,000 to $95,000 annual salary, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
