Responsibilities
Team Leadership :
- Manage and mentor a team of cybersecurity engineers, to ensure alignment with priorities and effective career development of staff
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment, encouraging continuous learning and professional development
Technology Strategy :
Lead the technology strategy and associated architecture for the Attack Surface Management organization to drive optimal delivery and align with industry norm. Able to influence and build support for executing those strategies within the organization.Actively connected with industry peers to stay abreast of best practices overall and within the financial services sectorOperations :
Oversee effective KPIs / monitoring to ensure Attack Surface Management technologies are operating within defined standards and controlsLeads the day to day for backlog for enhancements, bug fixes, continuous improvement and larger project workLeads the onboarding and maintenance process for Technology Security ConfigurationRemainspliant with Northern Trust application and technology risks and controlsVendor Management :
Partners with key technology vendors (Software and Managed Services providers) to ensure NT is getting optimal value for spend.Executive Briefing :
Brief senior leadership, business units and regulators on relevant threats, process improvements and readiness for change.Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.Proven experience in cybersecurity engineering and infrastructure management.Strong understanding of cloud environments and their associated security challenges.Proficiency in developing, implementing, and testing security solutions.Strong written and verbalmunication skills, with the ability to conveyplex information clearly.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Proven ability to influence and mentor others in in a technology-focused environment.CISSP or other similar qualifications are desired.Experience in supplier / vendor relationship and working with managed service providersTechnology Experience :
Qualys, Wiz, Checkmarx, Service Now SecOps and Change, Aqua, GitHub, Rapid 7, Azure, ADOSalary Range :
$164,600 - 288,000 USD
Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay.
